EIFF Presents: Oscar Nominated Shorts Animation
**Please be advised this year's Animated Short Film Program contains scenes of graphic violence, sexuality, and nudity. This Program is intended for adult-viewing, and parents are strongly cautioned to avoid bringing children to this screening**
With challenging concepts and provocative stories, this year's Oscar-Nominated Animated Shorts program is as diverse and unique as ever. Stories of espionage exist alongside woodland creatures and disparately connected lovers in this program, where traditional hand-drawn animation is as present as ever, but includes new artists pushing the boundaries of stop-motion, computer animation, and cell-shaded animation. The 2022 Oscar-Nominated Animation Short Films are a compelling reminder of the magic of animated storytelling, and the power that a small moment can hold.
